Memorial pages
A place to send everyone who could not be there
One private link with their photographs, the details of the service, and somewhere for people to leave what they remember. $10 once. No subscription, nothing that renews.
You can build the whole page before you pay, and nothing is public until you say so.
What is on the page
Their photographs
Up to forty. Location and camera data is stripped from every one before it is stored.
An obituary in your words
As long or as short as you like. Nothing is generated unless you ask for it.
Service details
Date, time, venue, what happens afterwards, a livestream link for anyone who cannot travel, and where to give in lieu of flowers.
A guestbook
People leave a memory. You read each one before it appears - or turn that off, if you would rather not.
How it works
-
Tell us who it is for
Their name, and who they were to you. That is the whole form - about a minute.
-
Add what you have
Photographs, a few lines about their life, the date and place of the service, a livestream link if there is one. You can come back and add more at any time.
-
Send the link to whoever you choose
The page is private until you publish it, and unlisted afterwards - it is not in search results and not in our sitemap. Anyone you send the link to can read it and leave a memory.
Who can see it
A memorial page is not a public listing and we do not treat it as one. It is private until you publish it. The address carries ten random characters, so it cannot be found by guessing a name. It is left out of our sitemap on purpose, and our robots.txt asks every search engine, answer engine and AI training crawler to stay off memorial pages entirely.
If you fill in a venue address together with a date and a time, the page tells you what that says in public before you publish it - it states where a named family will be, and when. Plenty of families publish exactly that on purpose. It should be a decision.
You can take the page offline in one click, and republishing brings the same link back.
What it costs
$10
once, for the page
There is no subscription and no renewal. If you also want a eulogy written for the service, that is $29 on its own, or $39 for both together - the full pricing is here.
Make a memorial pageQuestions
No. The memorial page is $10 on its own and needs nothing written. If you also want the eulogy, that is $29, or $39 for both.
There is no subscription and nothing renews. It stays up for as long as we do, at no further cost, and you can take it offline yourself in one click.
Only people you send the link to. Nothing is published until you publish it, the address carries ten random characters so it cannot be guessed, and we ask every search engine and AI crawler not to index memorial pages at all.
Yes, and you read each one before it appears. You can turn that review off if you would rather they go straight up, and you can switch the guestbook off entirely.
Location and camera data is stripped from every photograph on our side before it is stored - a phone photo taken at home carries the coordinates of your house otherwise. Delete a photo and the file is deleted, not just unlinked.
Yes, though it breaks any link you have already shared, and the page warns you about that before you do it.
